RENO, Nev. (AP) – Reno police have suspended the liquor licenses of 4 area businesses caught selling alcohol to minors.
The offenders cited in the sting operation using underage volunteers are the Reno Asian Market, PJ’s Discount Liquor, Ben’s Fine Wine and Spirits and the AM-PM Mini Mart.
The harshest penalty went to the Reno Asian Market on West Fifth Street – a three-week suspension that lasts until Dec. 11. That’s because it marks the fourth offense there in the past five years.
PJ’s Discount Liquors on Stead Boulevard received a one-week suspension after getting caught for its third violation in less than three years and Ben’s Fine Wine and Spirits on North Virginia got a 2-day suspension for its second offense in less than three years.
