The Weber State University Women’s Basketball team was in Reno, Nevada, to play the University of Nevada. Tonya Schnibbe led the Wildcats with 11 points, but the Wildcats fell 50-38. The team shot only 26.4 percent from the field and 12.5 percent from the three. Caitlin Anderson led the team with 12 rebounds, five of them coming off the offensive glass, and had nine points.

Nevada shot 33.9 percent from the field, and Shavon Moore and Kayla Williams led the team with 10 points each. Moore also had 10 rebounds and Williams had nine.

WSU had 24 turnovers compared to only nine assists. The team was also outrebounded 47-36, and took seven less foul shots than Nevada.

The team will be traveling to El Paso, Texas, to take part in the University of Texas at El Paso for UTEP’s home tournament. They will play UTEP in the first game Friday, Nov. 27 at 4:35 and then play either Youngstown State University or the University of Louisiana at Monroe, the following day.
